船舶与海洋工程学院简介

船舶与海洋工程学院是学校的主干学院，起源于1964年创办的轮机系，成立于2010年，学院是广东省先进基层党组织、广东省高校党建标杆院系，广州市教育工作先进集体，2022年学校先进集体。学院现有船舶与海洋工程广东省优势重点学科1个，拥有船舶与海洋工程、能源与动力工程、电气工程及其自动化、机械工程、机器人工程和车辆工程等6个本科专业，其中船舶与海洋工程为省一流本科专业。学院下设船舶工程系、机械工程系、电气工程系3个系、1个实验中心，拥有广东省船舶节能减排与安全监管工程技术研究中心、广东省船舶与海洋工程信息化控制与工程技术中心等2个两个省级工程中心，拥有船舶节能减排与安全监管工程技术开发中心、广东高校船舶信息化控制工程技术开发中心、船舶与海洋工程智能制造工程技术开发中心、智能船舶工程技术开发中心等4个厅级工程中心,1个省级船舶与海洋工程协同育人中心。学院现有全日制学生1637人。

学院师资力量雄厚，现有教职工62人，另有外聘教师15人，客座教授3人。校内教师中，有正高级职称16人，副高级职称19人；博士29人。其中，长江学者1人，广东省高校“千百十工程”省级培养对象3人，学校师德标兵2人。获国家科技进步特等奖1人、二等奖1人。学院是机械专业硕士点建设单位，现与广东工业大学、广州大学、辽宁科技大学联合培养硕士生，现有硕士生导师13人。

学院教学和实验设施完备，学院实验室中心建设有船舶多功能水池实验室、工程机器人实验室、船舶结构综合实验室、清洁能源船舶综合实验室和PLC实验室等23间实验室，面积达6854平方米，教学与科研仪器设备总价值5324.23万元，实验设备台套数为826件。

学院是广东造船工程学会副理事长单位，广东船舶工业协会副会长单位，广东造船工程学会船舶新能源与节能减排技术专业委员会、船史专业委员会主任委员单位，广东机械工程学会常务理事单位，学院与广船国际、黄埔文冲、瑞松科技、中誉集团、广州工业智能研究院等企业签订了校企合作协议共建了12个校外实习基地。

学院强调“厚基础，强实践，擅应用，突特色”的应用型人才培养模式，在人才培养中突出应用性、行业性和国际性。学院高度重视教学和教研教改工作，确保教学的中心地位。近四年来我院教师共获得教研教改项目54项，公开发表教研教改论文16篇，学院《船舶流体力学》建设成为广东省一流本科课程，建设省级网络课程3门，校级精品、网络课程10门。学院近四年出版教材7部，获得广东省教学成果一等奖、二等奖各1项，获广州市教学成果一等奖1项，三等奖2项，获广州市创新创业教育优秀成果奖1项。

学院学生进行半军事管理，建设良好的学风。学院注重学生就业创业能力培养，根据专业特色大力开展创新创业教育，着力提高学生创新创业能力。学院连续14年举行“海晶杯”篮球赛，连续11年举行“明信杯”辩论赛”，连续3年组织“绿色新能源大赛”、机器人大赛、“挑战杯”选拔赛、船模设计大赛等活动。近四年，学生发表论文24篇，申请知识产权13件，获第十届全国大学生节能减排社会实践与科技竞赛一等奖、第十七届“挑战杯”全国大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛“黑科技”专项赛一等奖、第十一届全国海洋航行器设计与制作大赛二等奖等国家级奖项23项，第十四届“挑战杯”广东大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛特等奖等省级奖项50余项。2017年以来，学院共有11名学生获国家奖学金，286名学生获国家励志奖学金。

学院毕业生以良好的服务意识，扎实的基础和较强的动手能力，赢得用人单位的好评，深受社会欢迎，毕业生去向落实率在99%以上。2021年学院毕业生的初次去向落实率在学校排第二，2022年99.66%排第一。学院毕业生2021年成功考研18人，2022年29人。

Brief Introduction for School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering

School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering is the backbone school of the university. It originated from the Department of Marine Engineering founded in 1964. Founded in 2010, the school is an advanced grass-roots Party organization in Guangdong Province, a benchmark school of Party building of Guangdong Province, an advanced collective of educational work in Guangzhou, and an annual advanced collective of the university in 2022. At present, the school has one advantageous key discipline of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering in Guangdong Province. It has six undergraduate majors, including Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering and Robotics Engineering and Vehicle Engineering. Among them, Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering is the first-class undergraduate major in Guangdong Province. The school has three departments, namely, the Department of Marine Engineering, the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering. Also the school has an experimental center. It has two provincial engineering centers, namely, the Guangdong Provincial Ship Energy Conservation, Emission Reduction and Safety Supervision Engineering Technology Research Center and the Guangdong Provincial Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Information Control and Engineering Technology. There are four department level engineering centers in the school, including the Ship Energy Conservation, Emission Reduction and Safety Supervision Engineering Technology Development Center, the Guangdong University Ship Information Control Engineering Technology Development Center, the Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Technology Development Center of Ship and Marine Engineering and the Intelligent Ship Engineering Technology Development Center. There is also one provincial Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Collaborative Education Center in the school. The school has 1637 full-time students.

The school has strong teacher forces, with 62 faculty members, 15 external teachers and 3 visiting professors. Among the teachers in the school, there are 16 with senior titles and 19 with deputy senior titles. There are 29 teachers with doctor degree. Among them, there is one Changjiang Scholar, three provincial-level training objects of the "Thousand Hundred Ten Project" of Guangdong universities, and two school moral pacesetters. One teacher won the national special prize for scientific and technological progress, and one teacher won the second prize for scientific and technological progress. The school is the construction unit of the master degree in mechanical engineering. And it is now jointly training master students with Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou University and Liaoning University of Science and Technology, and has 13 master's tutors at present.

The school has complete teaching and experimental facilities. The school's laboratory center has 23 laboratories, including the ship multi-functional pool laboratory, the engineering robot laboratory, the ship structure comprehensive laboratory, the clean energy ship comprehensive laboratory and the PLC Laboratory, covering an area of 6854 square meters. The total value of teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment is 53.2423 million yuan, and the number of experimental equipment sets is 826.

The school is the vice president unit of Guangdong Shipbuilding Engineering Society, the vice president unit of Guangdong Shipbuilding Engineering Association, the chairman of the New Energy and Energy Saving And Emission Reduction Technology Professional Committee of Guangdong Shipbuilding Engineering Society, the chairman of the Ship History Professional Committee, and the Governing Unit of Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society. The school cooperates with companies such as Guangzhou Shipyard International Company, CSSC Guangzhou Huangpu shipbuilding, Ruisong Technology, Zhongyu Group, Guangzhou Institute of Industrial Intelligence and has signed school enterprise cooperation agreements and jointly built 12 off campus practice bases.

The school emphasizes the application-oriented talent training mode of "thick foundation, strong practice, good application and outstanding characteristics", and highlights the application-oriented, industrial and international nature in talent training. The school attaches great importance to teaching, teaching research and teaching reform to ensure the central position of teaching. In the past four years, our teachers have won 54 teaching research and reform projects, published 16 teaching research and reform papers publicly, built "Ship Fluid Mechanics" into a first-class undergraduate course in Guangdong Province, built 3 provincial-level online courses, 10 school-level boutique and online courses, published 7 textbooks in the past four years, won 1 first prize and 1 second prize of teaching achievements in Guangdong Province, 1 first prize and 2 third prizes of teaching achievements in Guangzhou, won one excellent achievement award of Guangzhou innovation and entrepreneurship education.

Students of the school carry out semi military management and build a good style of study. The school pays attention to the cultivation of students' employment and entrepreneurship ability, vigorously carries out innovation and entrepreneurship education according to professional characteristics, and focuses on improving students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability. The school has held "Haijing Cup" basketball competition for 14 consecutive years, held "Mingxin Cup" debate competition for 11 consecutive years, and organized "green new energy competition", robot competition, "Challenge Cup" selection competition, ship model design competition and other activities for 3 consecutive years. In the past four years, students have published 24 papers and applied for 13 intellectual property rights. They have won 23 National Awards, including the first prize of the 10th National College Students' social practice and technology competition for energy conservation and emission reduction, the first prize of the 17th "Challenge Cup" National College Students' extracurricular academic scientific and technological works competition "black technology" special competition, and the second prize of the 11th national marine vehicle design and production competition and won more than 50 provincial awards such as the special prize of the 14th "Challenge Cup" Guangdong University Students' extracurricular academic and scientific works competition. Since 2017, a total of 11 students have won national scholarships and 286 students have won national inspirational scholarships.

With good service consciousness, solid foundation and strong practical ability, graduates have won praise from employers and are deeply welcomed by the society. The employment rate of graduates is over 99%. The implementation rate of the initial destination of college graduates in 2021 ranks second in the school, and 99.66% in 2022 ranks first. 18 college graduates have successfully passed the postgraduate entrance examination in 2021 and 29 in 2022.
